Great you’ve seen that the Twilight Sage has made its way onto Netflix. Now you cannot seem to tell your Eclipses from your New Moon. So how do you read the Twilight book Series in order? We have got you covered to watch and experience the suspenseful yet seductive love story unfolding between Bella and Edward right here.
Twilight (2008)
Director: Catherine Hardwicke
Writer: Melissa Rosenberg
Well, the best place to start first is with Twilight. The first part of the series begins when Bella arrives in Forks, Washington, for the first time. She comes into the town to live with her father, a local cop Charlie (a Twilight Saga character standout.) As time goes by, Bella becomes fascinated by Edward Cullen (an extremely attractive) brusque teen attending the same local high school. As the story progresses, Bella learns that Edward’s family is (“vegetarian”) vampires. The mind-reading vampires are just as fascinated with Bella as they cannot read her mind. Bella and Edward fall in love when she becomes the target of a group of hostile vampires. Edward’s family steps up to protect Bella.
The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009)
Director: Chris Weitz
Next is the follow-up of the first successful film. As the franchise received a bigger budget, Catherine Hardwicke was replaced with Christ Weitz (The Golden Compass director). However, the roller coaster love story of Bella and Edward continues. Edward singly decides he is a danger to Bella. So Edward and the rest of the Cullen’s pack up and leave town, not even saying goodbye leaving Bella falling back into depression. One light in her life is Jacob Black, another local teen, and werewolf who helps her fix her truck. So the iconic love triangle is born.
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (2010)
Director: David Slade
In the third film of the series, the director of Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, David Slade, takes over the reins. You see Bella and Edward back together, yeah! They are engaged to be married as Edward wants to turn Bella into a vampire. Meanwhile, some evil vampire guys plant to take Bella. They build a vampire army to do the job for them. Yet, will this lead Jacob and Edward to work together to keep Bella safe, whom they both love. Make sure to look at it to find out.
